Shirasagi no Mai (Dance of White Heron)
Shirasagi no Mai (Dance of White Heron) is held three times at Senso-ji (Senso Temple), on the second Sunday in April, during the Sanja Matsuri (Sanja Festival) in May, and on November 3rd. The dance technique is adopted from "Heron Dance" of Gion Matsuri (Gion Festival) at Yasaka Jinja (Yasaka Shrine) in Kyoto.
