Kaminarimon (Kaminarimon Gate)

The main gate of Senso-ji (Senso Temple), with the symbolic big lantern (height 3.9m,width 3.3m, weight 700kg). At both sides of the lantern are statues of Fujin (wind god) and Raijin (thunder god), praying for the protection of the temple against natural disasters.
